NOTE FROM THE RECRUITMENT CHAIR:
Dear Potential New Member,
I am so happy that you are reading this because it most likely means that you are interested in going through Panhellenic Recruitment at the University of Florida! Going through recruitment and accepting a bid to Delta Zeta have defined my college career. The friendships I have built here are unmatched, the amount I am growing for the better is exponential, and the memories with these women that I will have for the rest of my life are priceless.
The truth is, recruitment isn’t for the faint-hearted. It is a long process, and can be a very tough one at times. At any given moment, you may feel excited, anxious, nervous, confident, exhausted, angry, frustrated, discouraged, happy…sometimes maybe even all of these things at once! But don’t fret: I promise you, every single Panhellenic woman has been in your very same shoes. The biggest piece of advice I can give is this: stay positive. No matter what happens, recruitment itself will most definitely bring you new friends and treasured memories. Be present, be excited, and be yourself. At Delta Zeta, we want to get to know YOU. We aren’t looking for any “type” of woman. We are looking for authentic individuals to welcome into our sisterhood.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me should you have any questions. Even if you would just like to chat - I am here for you.
Please mail completed recommendation forms to:

MEET THE NEW MEMBER EDUCATOR:
Dear Potential New Member,
My name is Victoria Carrillo and I am Delta Zeta’s Vice President of New Member Education. I first would like to say how happy and excited I am that you are going through recruitment and considering joining our amazing chapter. I know as of right now you are probably feeling so many mixed emotions whether their excitement, hopefulness and maybe even a little fear. My advice to you would be to continue being your authentic self, always be in the moment, trust your gut and go with your heart.
Every day I am so beyond thankful that I was given the ability to join this inclusive, supportive, involved, and passionate sisterhood. I am forever thankful for the friendships I have made here at Delta Zeta, the countless memories I will never forget, the ability to be myself and be accepted, and the unconditionally loving sisterhood that I really never knew I needed.
My hopes for you are that you find that same sisterhood… The one that you are so over the moon to tell your friends and family about, the one you feel nothing but joy walking into, and the one where you know that even if you aren’t close with every sister, they all truly do have your back. I know here at Delta Zeta that is how I feel every single day. As New Member Educator, we will be spending lots of time together where I get to integrate your New Member class into the chapter, throw fun sisterhoods, teach you about this amazing chapter and help you get involved on campus!
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. I am here and happy to answer them! Good luck with recruitment, and as always Go Gators!
