Delta Zeta is the second largest national sorority and has enriched the lives of more than 220,000 initiates! Founded in 1902 at Miami University, Delta Zeta has grown into 162 collegiate chapters, including our own Pi Alpha chapter.
When Alfa Lloyd, Mary Collins, Anna Keen, Julia Bishop, Mabelle Minton and Anne Simmons came together in 1902 to form a social sorority, they had a vision of lifetime sisterhood. These friends bonded quickly as they faced the challenges of starting a sorority on a male-dominated campus. The Delta Zeta Foundation, a non-profit organization, supports scholarships, leadership, philanthropy and education that enriches our members and the lives of those in need.
Our chapter was founded at the University of Florida in 2003 where we have served our community for the past 13 years.
The Pi Alpha chapter won Chapter of the Year for the 2015 - 2016 year!
